Battle at the Border is going to be a 2 day competition between NCR and VMSC. Over the weekend we will battle it out between the cones at NCCAR to find out if the best autocross drivers are from NC or VA.
This will count as events #3 & 4 for NCR
This weekend will also count as points events #7 and 8 for VMSC

Event requirements
PLEASE READ OVER THE ENTIRE EVENT WRITE-UP, there is lots of info here that will help you with registration.
Registration: Check-in will be done when coming through the gate in the morning. If you need to make any changes to your registration afterward please see the Registrar at the Driver's Meeting.
Paddock: Drivers can Paddock in the gravel lot or on the VDA.
All trailers must be unloaded/loaded in the gravel lot.
If you need to jack up your vehicle it must be done in the gravel lot. Vehicles can NOT be jacked up on the VDA.
Tech: Tech inspections will be done in the grid. Please have your vehicle ready for tech before coming to the grid including having your numbers and class on your vehicle.
Camping: Camping is allowed on site and there are a number of RV electrical hookups available around the edge of the gravel lot. Cars and trailers may be left in the gravel paddock area overnight (not the pavement).
Speed Limits: The speed limit in Paddock and Grid (VDA) - Walking Speed ONLY!
The speed limit on the access roads - 15 mph
The speed limit on track between the course finish and the VDA - 40 mph. THIS IS NOT A TRACK DAY EVENT 40mph means 40mph. Anybody speeding or driving dangerously on track after course finish will be disqualified and asked to leave the event.

Entry Fee: Online Credit Card Payment Required but will not be charged until event. No Shows will not be charged.

- Drivers (cars) must be 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers license. Drivers under 18 years of age must bring a signed SCCA minor waiver. All vehicles must pass a technical inspection and helmets must be SNELL 2010 or newer. Loaner helmets are available.
- Car Numbers are limited to 1-199 with no leading zeros. Numbers/Class Letters will not be provided by NCR. Contrasting colors of tape are allowed, if they are legible. Ex: Blue tape on a blue car will not be accepted.
- We are running current SCCA Solo Rules and National Solo classes. There is a Maximum of 2 drivers per open class, and 2 drivers per ladies class, per car.
- Minimum of 4-runs per day of competition.
- All participants must sign a SCCA Release and Waiver form onsite.

Minors (under age 18) MUST complete both the Annual Waiver Minor and Annual Waiver Minor Parental Consent forms Online before the event. To access the waivers BOTH parents and the minor must each sign into my.scca.com (Non-SCCA members can create free guest accounts). Once logged in go to the Online Store and under “Licenses and Waivers” are the Annual Waiver Minor and Annual Waiver Minor Parental Consent. Once BOTH parents and the minor have each filled out the forms please email the registrar (ncraxreg@gmail.com) so we can confirm the waivers are approved and insure there will be no issue the day of the event.
The SCCA wants the minor waivers filled out online but we will have paper copies available at the event. BOTH parents must attend the event to sign the waivers
You will not be charged until the event, therefore please sign up and encourage others to do so. You will not be charged unless you show up and check in to drive.
